MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Patient Info: For instructions and forms, select your test on the left navigation menu.
MRI is the fastest growing modality in diagnostic imaging. PMI has received American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation for MRI. PMI features a high-field 1.5 Tesla magnet, the strongest in the Prescott area, as well as the latest software. The short-bore design of the magnet decreases claustrophobia, while maintaining the superior image quality and speed that are not possible with weaker or open MRI units. This allows for a significantly shorter exam for the patient without compromising quality for the radiologist.
